- KHAKI - Originally a color, now also a type of durable twill fabric, khaki commonly refers to both the light brown shade of military uniforms and the casual pants you might wear on a weekend outing.

What Is the Waffle Word Game?
Waffle is a fun word puzzle game that mixes parts of crosswords and word guessing. You play on a grid shaped like a waffle, where letters are placed randomly.
Your goal is to unscramble six five-letter words within 15 swaps. The words are clearly divided into three horizontal words (across) and three vertical words (down): three going across (horizontal) and three going down (vertical), as seen in the image below. Each row and column shares letters where they cross, so you must think carefully about each move to make sure the letters fit both ways.

How to Play Waffle:
- Understand the Grid: The game board looks like a waffle, with letters placed randomly. Your job is to rearrange these letters to form six correct words—three across and three down.
- Make Swaps: You have 15 moves to swap letters and create the right words. To swap, click and drag a letter to another spot on the grid. After each swap, the letters change color to show if they’re in the right place.
- Color Clues are similar to Wordle:
- Green: The letter is in the correct spot.
- Yellow: The letter is in the word but in the wrong spot.
- Gray: The letter is not in the word.
- Solve the Puzzle: To win, all letters must be green, meaning all six words are correct. Try to solve the puzzle in as few moves as possible. The game can be solved in at least 10 moves. For every move you have left after solving, you earn a star.
The Daily Waffle Word game is a great way to challenge your brain and improve your vocabulary. It’s easy to learn and offers a new puzzle every day. Give it a try and see how many stars you can earn!
